MK (Mary Katherine) is a Nocty, a Phroite of the dark. She can blend with darkness and appear anywhere with shadows. She can also absorb other people powers and energy, being even able to kill them. She has also learned the secrets of the shelaks, the knights of Lörey.
Hannah is a Dieka, a witch of light. She can turn invisible, create shields and heal the wounded, but only as long as there’s light, she is also an archer. She arrives to Eacigam after her parents death, and she soon has to deal with the idea of being a magic creature, being a kind of bodyguard, the fact that her parents were killed in a war and the fact that her best friends, is actually a vampire who nearly kills her and the rest of her friends.
